London beauty Amy Jackson is all over the moon once she got confirmed in Robo 2 as the lead heroine.
Rajnikanth starrer Robo 2 is being directed by Shankar. This will be a sequel to the first part “Robo” that released in 2010 and became a huge hit.
Amy was contacted by Director Shankar, who narrated the role of her character in the film. Knowing that this would be a sci-fi film starring Rajnikanth, she immediately accepted the offer. The sequel is also talked about having a good number of visual effects than the first part. As part of it Amy was sent to the UK where moulds of her can be prepared and used for visual effects purpose.
Currently, Rajnikanth is shooting for “Kabali” which will be hitting the theatres coming Pongal. Amy Jackson is working for Dhanush-Velraj untitled film that will be releasing in 2016.
“Robo” saw Aishwarya Rai as the lead heroine, while the heroines like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone were considered for the second part. Finally, Shanker has settled for his “I” heroine, Amy Jackson.
For the anti-role, many popular names were considered. Tamil hero Vikram was rumoured of doing this role but wasn’t confirmed. Later on Shah Rukh Khan was also contacted for this crazy role. Now, talk has that Hollywood Superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger is being considered to fight against Rajnikanth in “Robo-2.”
With all such things going around “Robo-2,” expectations are building high over this movie. This film will start its regular shooting from December and may release at the end of 2016.
