Pawan Kalyan’s new film ‘Katamarayudu’ is said to be the remake of Tamil hit film ‘Veeram’. Although the makers are just taking the core story of the Tamil film, they were bound to buy the remake rights from film’s producer AM Ratnam. However, it is heard that Ratnam has offered the remake rights to Pawan for free.
But, Ratnam made sure he was getting more than a fair deal for offering Veeram rights for free. In return, he acquired the dates of Pawan for a project and it is strongly heard that he has decided to remake Ajith starrer ‘Vedhalam’ with Pawan Kalyan. Tamil director RT Neason, who helmed Vijay and Mohanlal starrer ‘Jilla’, might direct Pawan in this remake.
By wishing Pawan Kalyan on his birthday via newspaper ads, AM Ratnam has already confirmed the news of producing a film with Pawan.
