Allu Arjun to fight against child Labour!

Stylish star Allu Arjun is back in Hyderabad now, about a month back Allu Arjun went to Perth city in Australia for shoulder surgery and now he is fine and he has returned to Hyderabad from Australia. Here is the Allu Arjun’s first look after surgery and he was attended an event in Secunderabad on September 17th.

In association with Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI), the Labour Department has organized an event at St. Ann’s High School in Secunderabad on Saturday, 17th September supporting fight against Child Labour. In the event, St. Ann’s High School has presented several cultural programmes.  

Actor Allu Arjun actively participated in the event to fight against Child Labour in the State. He appreciated state government and other NGOs for taking measures in eradicating Child Labour from society and said, some more efforts are still needed to improve the conditions of children being exploited as labourers and to be sent to schools without fail. To which, D. Nagender, the Labour Minister expressed that the government has initiated various measures to eradicate child labour. Distribution of books, dresses and introduction of mid-day meal scheme in schools were some of the steps taken up for the benefit of children.

The survey was conducted by Labour Department along with the help of various NGOs on S.P. Road and M.G. Road in Secunderabad where they have visited 1000 shops and asked the owners of those shops not to employ children. In the survey, it was observed that only 4 children were found working in Hotel, garment shops and sweet shop in that area. During their visits, they have even stuck the stickers with slogan ‘No Child Labour’ in the shops.
