It is an open secret that late Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa had a very fondness for Thala Ajith Kumar. Soon after the demise of Jaya, many Tamil media houses even predicted that Ajith would be made her successor, if not immediately in due time for sure.
Keeping it all aside, Ajith definitely has won the hearts of fans of Amma with his noble act. The actor was in Bulgaria, shooting for his new film when Amma was declared dead. As he was thousands of miles away, he could have simply sent a condolence message.
But, Ajith cancelled the film’s shoot and caught the immediate possible flight to Chennai to pay homage to the iron lady. He landed in Chennai in the wee hours of Wednesday and went directly to the burial place of Amma to pay his last tributes.
Later, he also visited the Apollo hospital to pay tributes to Cho Ramaswamy.
