Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who is awaiting the release of ‘Kaabil,’ has hit the headlines by paying an advance tax of Rs 80 Cr for the third quarter of this year.
Hrithik’s tax feat came as a huge surprise as he has delivered probably the biggest disaster of his career with Mohenjo Daro this year. His earnings from this disaster, brand endorsements and HRX products have reportedly helped him pay this staggering advance tax. He had paid Rs 50 Cr tax during the same period last year.
Aamir Khan, who will be seen in his biggest release of 2016, Dangal, is second in the list with Rs 72 Cr advance tax. Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar make the Top 5. Deepika Padukone topped the category of actresses.
The amount paid by SRK, Big B, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra has not been revealed by the tax department.
