Here is complete and full review of Mahesh Babu and Tamanna starring Telugu Movie Aagadu. The film is said to be a commercial entertainer and Srinu Vaitla is the director.

After “Dookudu”, Srinu Vaitla – Mahesh Babu combination came on to the screens with “Aagadu”. This venture raised heavy expectations among audience. Tamanna’s presence in this venture too is a big plus point and the trailers of this flick rocked the screens few days back. Several records were established by this venture in the past 7 days and finally, the heavy expectations movie came on to the screens today. This flick is a crucial one for Srinu Vaitla, Mahesh Babu and Tamanna Bhatia. Read on to know how far this flick reached the expectations.

Story:

Mahesh Babu (Encounter Shankar) is a Police Officer who is sincere in his own style. Rajendra Prasad (Raja Ram), who is a Police Officer, takes care of Shankar in his childhood days. Inspiring from various aspects, Shankar turns into Circle Inspector in the later stage. He takes charge of Bukkapatanam. Shankar moves opposite to the local rowdy Sonu Sood (Damodar). A situation makes Shankar turn more furious towards Damodar. He plans strategically and uses Brahmanandam (Delhi Babu) to defeat Damodar. How all this happens should be seen on the big screen.

Performances:

This is a treat to Mahesh Babu’s fans. After acting in several Police roles, “Aagadu” turned out to be a cake walk to Mahesh. Situations looked quite hilarious between Mahesh and the supporting actors. Nazzar, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore and Tamanna’s combinations with Mahesh made audience feel the peaks of entertainment.

Tamanna looked good beside Mahesh and the pair looked absolutely perfect. Sonu Sood did justice to his role but Prakash Raj could have done a bit better in this role. Brahmanandam’s comedy dance and hilarious performance made audience roll on floor laughing. Shruthi Hassan’s item song is an extra bonus to the Prince fans. Other characters too worked out well on the big screen.

Technical Aspects:

Production values were well maintained. After taking Police Story once again, Srinu Vaitla took the toughest responsibility of showing Mahesh again in a power packed Police avatar. Showing the difference between “Dookudu”, “Badshah” and “Aagadu” seemed quite tough for Srinu Vaitla as all the 3 are Police Stories.

He showed his mark with direction in case of comedy, action and romance. Thaman’s music as mentioned by Mahesh, is a big asset to the flick. His background scores and the songs were perfectly matched. Dialogues is another department which we can speak about. It made audience in the theatre literally scream all the time.

Cinematography, Choreography and editing were all fine. We can see few different dance moves from Mahesh in this flick.

On an average:

On an average, first half was filled with entertainment between Mahesh and other characters while the second half was completely dominated by Mahesh and Brahmanandam combination. Climax looked simple but the entire flick is entertaining. Even though, “Dookudu” shades were on this venture, we can see some good entertaining stuff in this flick.

If Srinu Vaitla could have made few more changes in the story to go completely out of “Dookudu” shades, this flick could have been much better. Shruthi Hassan’s song is a treat to the youngsters and the comedy is attractive to the family audience. Punch dialogues are especially sharpened for the mass audience and on an average, this flick has all the ingredients for all groups of spectators.
